A creative partner who's been on your side of the table.

I know what it's like inside, and how to help you reach the people you're trying to serve.

About

After studying political science, I spent ten years inside civil society organizations, leading communications, strategy, brand, art direction, and campaigns. â€‹

Human rights work is where my attention has always been, professionally and otherwise. Most of my career has been strategy and creative direction - figuring out what an institution or organization should be saying, to whom, and why anyone would listen.

For four years, I lived and worked across Israel and Palestine leading communications efforts for movements, leaders, NGO's and institution - work that demanded sensitivity about how people were represented. It's a place with very little margin for carelessness. What I learned there has prepared me for global work in this sector: understanding the vulnerabilities of the people being served, and what moves the audience being spoken to.

I am working globally now, which has taken me further than I expected: protection for minority and marginalized groups in Sri Lanka, economic dignity for women in remote villages in northern Vietnam.

01

Authenticity

Most organizations already have the right language somewhere - in how staff describe the work to friends, in an old grant application, in something someone said in a meeting. Usually it's a matter of finding it and building outward, rather than inventing a voice from scratch.

02

Conviction

Good work in this sector takes context and dedication. I only take on projects that I care about so I can truly understand your challenges and have a real interest in your mission, not just deliverables.

03

Integrity

I'm honest about what I think is necessary. Sometimes the brief is social media strategy when what's really needed is a clearer offering or a better sense of your audience, so I'll talk it through with you early.

04

Collaboration

I work closely with you so you understand the decisions and see how things come together. When the project ends, you should feel confident carrying the work forward.

Four values that guide each project.

A small studio with a wider circle.

I often partner with other creatives, from logo designers and writers to developers, illustrators, grant-writers, content creators, and photographers who care about social impact as much as I do.

If you’re kind, curious, and excited about doing good work with good people, I'd love to hear from you.
